Indonesian Feedmills Association (GPMT) held a social event caring for people affected by COVID-19 by conducting a social service to distribute Chicken and Egg Packages, consisting of 2000 packages (1 kg chicken 1 kg egg). This social event was held in a few days from 12-20 May 2020 in several different urban villages in the areas around Jakarta, Bekasi and Bogor.

The congress was held from 12 to 14 March 2020, in the Kertanegara Hall of the Singhasari Resort, Batu City, with the theme "Strengthening the role of GPMT, as a strategic partner of the government, breeders and cultivators in the industrial era 4.0".

In order to carry out the mandate of the Congress of GPMT (Association of Animal Feed), the Board (BP) and several representatives from the Regional Commission (Komda) held a Workshop held in Belitung 25-27 October 2017.
Attending the workshop were the Chairman of GPMT period 2016-2020, Desianto B. Utomo, four chairmen, M. Tevi Melviana, Denny D. Indradjaja, Johan and Timbul Sihombing and executive secretary of Askam Sudin. The success of the workshop was also attended by representatives from North Sumatra, West Java, Lampung, East Java and also Sulawesi and Kalimantan Regional Command.

Water hyacinth is widely recognized as a pest that often inflicts complications to public water supplies such as reservoirs. The population of water hyacinth in Cirata Reservoir, West Java has come to an alarming measure, it blanketed almost the entire water surface. This condition threatens the Keramba Jaring Apung (KJA) (translated: floating net) cultivation activities. A fact that these water plants had spread near the turbine of Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Air (PLTA) (translated: Hydroelectric Power Plant) is even more distressing because they can interfere with West Java’s main electricity supply.

GPMT and USSEC collaborate in organizing a series of workshops in Cipanas, Jogjakarta, and Cirebon for fish farmers and representatives of fish feed companies with topics suited to the local stakeholders conditions.
